This two-hour online ritual and energy healing is an invitation to honour the last death-shedding of winter — the deep rest, the quiet decay, the wisdom of the dark — while consciously preparing to cross into the awakening light of spring.
We begin in the presence of the Cailleach, ancient keeper of winter, bone mother, and guardian of the deep dark. She teaches us how to rest, how to let go, and how to honour what must be laid down before new life can emerge. With her, we acknowledge what is ending, what has been stripped back to the bones, and what must be released back to the earth.
From here, we are gently guided toward Brigid, goddess of fire, water, healing, poetry, and the sacred forge. In her Triple Goddess aspect — Crone, Mother, and Maiden, she carries us across the threshold, helping us tend the inner flame, bless the waters of renewal, and begin kindling what is ready to be born.
Through fire and water ritual, we will cleanse the body and spirit, clear stagnant or heavy energies from the winter months, and reawaken the subtle life force within us. Fire becomes the spark of intention and transformation; water becomes the vessel of blessing, intuition, and flow.
This is a space of remembrance and re-enchantment, where the old gods, goddesses, land spirits, ancestors, and guiding presences may step forward. You are welcome to work with Brigid and the Cailleach, or to call in other deities, guides, or ancestral energies that walk with you at this turning of the year. All paths are honoured within the container of the ritual.
This is not a ritual of rushing or forcing growth. Like the earth herself, we move slowly, listening deeply, allowing the new to rise in its own time.
